Royals make four roster moves

KANSAS CITY (AP) - The Kansas City Royals made four roster moves Thursday, including activating right-hander Robinson Tejeda from the disabled list.

In addition, the Royals brought up right-hander reliever Greg Holland from Triple-A Omaha and sent outfielder Jarrod Dyson and right-hander Jeremy Jeffress to Omaha.

Tejeda was 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA in seven games before going on the disabled list April 13 with inflammation of the right shoulder.

The hard-throwing Jeffress (1-1) has had control problems since he was acquired in the winter trade that sent former Cy Young Award winner Zack Greinke to Milwaukee. He walked three batters in the 11th inning Wednesday night before Adrian Beltre hit a game-winning two-run single for Texas.

Dyson was 9-for-9 in stolen base attempts before he was picked off first Wednesday night right after Eric Hosmer's solo home run tied the game 3-3.

Holland was 2-0 with two saves and had a 2.08 ERA in 212⁄3 innings with Omaha. He had 27 strikeouts and 11 walks.
