Tigers sweep, capture share of Big 12 title

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri Tigers captured at least a share of the Big 12 Conference softball title Saturday with a doubleheader sweep of the Iowa State Cyclones.

Missouri won the opener 8-2 before taking the nightcap 8-1 to earn its first softball conference title since 1997. The Tigers (46-7, 15-3 Big 12) can win the title outright if Texas (14-3) loses today to Baylor.
