Eagles to face Linn

NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — The Eugene Eagles opened Class 2 District 6 play Saturday morning with a 10-0 blanking of Fayette in six innings.

The Eagles (15-8), the No. 2 seed, will face Linn in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Monday. Third-seeded Linn moved on with a 5-4 victory later Saturday over Russellville.
