Pointer scores twice

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Andrew Pointer scored a run as a pinch-runner Saturday in William Woods’ 15-8 victory over Huntington University in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.

Pointer (Blair Oaks High School) also pitched 1 1⁄3 innings of relief.
