Falcons hold on in seventh for win

WARDSVILLE, Mo. — The first six innings of Saturday’s Class 3 District 8 first-round game couldn’t have played out better for Blair Oaks.

However the final inning nearly undid the first six innings of work.

But with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning, Blair Oaks sophomore Daniel Castillo bore down and struck out the final two Dutchmen to give the Falcons a 6-4 victory against Owensville.
