The state Senate has sent Gov. Jay Nixon a second bill providing financial help to math and science students, and to those who want to pursue nursing careers.
Senate sponsor Jason Crowell, R-Cape Girardeau, told colleagues the same provisions had been included in a separate, larger bill senators approved Wednesday and also sent to the governor.
