Fulton postmen fear more dog attacks
Tuesday, May 10, 2011
Fulton letter carriers are carrying Mace and pepper spray to protect themselves from dog attack.
“Lord help us if any letter carrier is attacked again by a pit bull,” Postmaster Roger Bounds said.
Bounds said Fulton letter carrier Tom Galloway returned to work on April 16 after he was mauled by two pit bulls on March 1. Bounds said Galloway had to Mace another dog while making his rounds only a week after returning to work.
