If Gov. Jay Nixon agrees, the state soon could be signing papers granting a permanent sidewalk easement "over, on, and under property located at the Adrians Island ... to Jefferson City."
But that doesn't mean Adrians Island is being developed quickly.
It's just one of a number of transactions contained in a bill lawmakers sent Nixon last Thursday.
