Two area lawmen attend training in Israel

Recently, two Mid-Missouri law officers were among 16 officials from around the United States to be part of a week-long training trip to Israel.

Cole County Sheriff Greg White and Maj. Dale Schmidt of the Missouri Highway Patrol said their trip was funded by the American Israel Endowment Program, which gets its money through donations, not tax dollars.
