Lincoln baseball sweeps doubleheader

The Lincoln baseball team wanted to get off to a good start in its weekend series with Southwest Baptist, and the Blue Tigers actually got off to two of them.

The Blue Tigers got hot starts in both pitching and hitting in the first inning of the opening game of Friday’s doubleheader at Lincoln Field, and it sparked Lincoln to a 6-2 victory.

That momentum carried over into the second game, as the Blue Tigers made it a sweep with another 6-2 win.
