Vogel wins title; Alewine finishes 2nd

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Brent Vogel of the University of Central Missouri captured the championship of the decathlon during the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Heptathlon and Decathlon Championships that wrapped up Monday.

On the women’s side, Central Missouri’s Lindsay Lettow and Erin Alewine went 1-2 in the decathlon.
