Grant will focus on boys' reading

Hoping to improve boys' literacy, Elizabeth Milhollin applied for grants to expand her classroom library's graphic novels and to bring in modern audio technology.

Her Cedar Hill Elementary School classroom on Tuesday was one of three stops for the Jefferson City Public Schools Foundation as it awarded nearly $2,000 in grants.
