FULTON, Mo. — Joshua Maylee, 24, Holts Summit, pleaded not guilty Monday in Callaway County Circuit Court when he was arraigned on three first-degree murder charges and one attempted murder charge.
Maylee is accused of using a rifle and a pistol to murder Callaway County residents Eugene Pinet, his wife, Jackie Pinet, and Jeff Werdehausen. He also faces an attempted murder charge in connection with a shooting and wounding of Werdehausen’s wife, Gina.
Public defender Don Catlett offered a motion Monday in behalf of Maylee waiving his formal arraignment.
Circuit Court Judge Gary Oxenhandler then read the four charges and Maylee pleaded not guilty to all of them.
