Some collectivists still believe in mankind induced global warming because they are ignorant of facts and hidden agenda of their socialist rulers like Obama.
The supposedly beyond reproach UN directed Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) with their pseudo-scientists was tasked to study only anthropogenic (man-made) global warming (AGW); assuming of course that such a cause existed. Assuming the conclusion to prove a premise is the biggest fallacy pawned off on an ignorant citizenry by the liberal, socialist, progressive leftists, and Democrats that preach class warfare like a new religion.
IPCC is like the old adage of if you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail. What does the UN and IPCC want to nail, technologically advanced mankind and countries of course. The UN wants to control a nonexistent threat of CO2 by high taxes and fees on fossil fuel power generation to reduce the nonsexist threat. The UN will redistribute the monies from the taxes and fees to those supposedly suffering from the nonexistent threat, like poor kingdoms in the Pacific supposedly flooding from an AGW caused ocean rise.
The ocean has been rising many feet since the last Ice Age. Living near or below the present day ocean level is like playing Russian Roulette with five out of six chambers loaded. Now most collectivists are trumpeting climate change rather than global warming because IPCC leaked e-mails prove global warming doesn't exist. Actually global cooling is going to be a problem for the next two or three decades.
In 2008, more than 31,000 scientists signed a petition dissenting from the supposedly "settled science' AGW position adopted by the UN's IPCC. Natural planetary factors dwarf AGW factors; however, collectivists, UN socialists, or Democrats as I see them, still want to tax and redistribute the wealth anyway because what does reality have to do with how Democrats make decisions.
Obama took office to rule, as his own staff stated, not to govern or lead. The Obama regime behaves just as if he is a ruler not an elected servant of the people and a protector of our nation. Democrat senators and representatives also act as rulers rather than elected servants. Democrats vote to diminish and cripple fossil fuel energy for our country, the USA; yet, lend money to foreign countries to drill for oil.
AGW/man-made climate change are a total frauds used to justify financial enslavement of free people.
