Two injured in accident

Two Jefferson City men were injured in a one-vehicle accident early Saturday.
Kennan Russell, 52, and Albert Middlecamp, 52, were both in stable condition at St. Mary’s Health Center.
At 1:15 a.m. on Lookout Trail at Luxury Road in Cole County, the vehicle driven by Russell drove off the left side of the road and struck an embankment after taking a curve too fast, according to Missouri Highway Patrol reports.
Russell was arrested and faces charges of second-degree felony assault and DWI.
