LU softball goes 1-1

TOPEKA, Kan. — The Lincoln Blue Tigers softball team split a doubleheader Saturday with Washburn University.

The Blue Tigers (16-28 overall, 6-14 MIAA) held a 4-1 lead before giving up four runs in the bottom of the seventh to dropped a 5-4 decision in the first game. They rebounded in the nightcap, pushing across a run in the eighth to post a 3-2 victory.
