Why not renovate the old MOPAC station at Monroe and State strrets? It is a historic building with a nice looking exterior. Much better than what JC is using for a passenger station at present.

The Union Pacific runs a treight railroad through there and they are still using that building. Based on their "Golly, we can't make a decision in a hurry on that" response about the tunnel to the gravel bar on the other side of their tracks, they probaly wouldn't be in a hurry to sell their building.
