HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. - While members of the Board of Aldermen says it approves of nuclear power and construction of a second reactor at the Callaway Nuclear Power Plant, a series of events prevented the board from expressing that sentiment Monday night.
Jason Michael, 1st Ward alderman, was presiding over the meeting in the absence of Mayor Lucas Fitzpatrick. That left only three voting members of the board: 1st Ward Alderwoman Pamela Murray, and 2nd Ward Aldermen Thomas Durham and Paul Buckley.
