Future JCHS options to be discussed

Public forums, open houses set in April

The future of Jefferson City's upper grades is the focus of a series of presentations and community open houses, beginning April 7.

Superintendent Brian Mitchell appointed a "Secondary Schools Study Committee" in fall 2009 to consider what changes - if any - the district should make to improve education from grades 6-12.

The committee's task included seeking answers to key questions that its members developed.
