ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The Lincoln Blue Tigers were handed a 5-0 loss Saturday by Northwest Missouri State in Mid-America Intercolleigate Athletics Association action.
Camila Araujo and Shelby Penno took one game from Erika Leston and Leslee Feldhause at the No. 1 doubles spot before dropping an 8-1 decision. Alina Katrevick and Tierra Phillips fell 8-4 at No. 2 doubles, while Victoria Banks and Ashley Williams were blanked 8-0.
In singles competition, Araujo fell 6-1, 6-1, while Penno lost 6-1, 6-0.
Lincoln (0-6, 0-4 MIAA) returns to action at 10 a.m. today at Nebraska-Omaha.
