With an fairly inexperienced group of golfers and a slew of tough district opponents, Jays coach Randy Bickel simplified his varsity selection process this year.

“Those that are playing the best are the ones that are going to be playing,” Bickel said as the Jays prepared to open the season today in a dual at Waynesville.
