Jays, Lady Jays begin track slate by beating Helias

The Jefferson City Jays and Lady Jays opened the season Tuesday with a sweep of Helias in a dual at Adkins Stadium.

The Jays racked up 109 team points to take first, while Helias totaled 37. The Lady Jays took first with 118 points on the girls side, while Helias had 28. Blair Oaks participated in the dual, but its scores did not count.

A.J. Miller was a triple-winner for the Jays. Jake Feldmann of Helias was a double-winner.
