Stockton captures Class 3 girls title from Hermann

Chayla Rutledge scored 29 points and had nine rebounds as Stockton rolled to a 74-52 victory over Hermann in the Missouri Class 3 girls' basketball state championship game Saturday.

The Tigers (28-3) went on a 14-3 run in the third quarter to seal their fourth title in school history, all coming in the last ten seasons.

Kaitlan Cramer scored 25 points, including 17 in the first half, and Garrett Burton added 10 for Stockton. The Tigers shot 46 percent from the floor and 7-of-14 from 3-point range.

Shelby Winkelmann scored 20 points to lead the way for the Bearcats (26-6).
