Old Town, festival district on Jefferson City Council agenda

Another Jefferson City council meeting means another round of ordinances stemming from the Ad Hoc Committee on the Revitalization of Old Town.

At Friday afternoon’s brown bag pre-meeting of the council, members discussed three bills that are the result of suggestions from the committee, which were presented in January.

The other bill that will be introduced at Monday night’s council meeting is an amendment to the special events permit, creating a trial run for a festival district.
