Fishermen find body in river in St. Louis County

FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) — A body has been found in the Missouri River near St. Louis County’s Pelican Island.

St. Louis County police spokesman Rick Eckhard says fishermen found the body Saturday morning.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that police are awaiting autopsy results to determine the gender, identity and how long the body may have been in the water.

Did they ever find that kid who got out of a patrol car and jumped off the Mo River bridge in Jefferson City while handcuffed and shackled?
