Your Opinion: On CWIP issue, consider voters

Dear Editor:

Is the CWIP outdated, quite possibly, but the citizen voters some 30-plus years ago voted for this law, and I strongly feel the voters of today should have the same option.

If this law does not fit some folks' agenda, don't offend us by overturning it without our input.

I'm not opposed to changes, but I am opposed to the constant demand that "we" the citizens are always looked at as the bearer of the costs associate with changes. There's just so much blood you can draw before the body becomes comatose.

I do know if this CWIP law is overturned how I will vote in the next election. The folks who are our current representatives to protect our interests, might just do that to protect their positions, if they can read our feelings.
