MoDOT officials are working to clarify how they’ll be approaching the work to build a new Missouri 179 interchange leading to the new St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City.

Many people have wondered why the area between Edgewood Drive and Route C must be closed so work can be done.

“There’s been a lot of questions about why we’re doing this,” said project manager Jason Vanderfeltz.
