Sunday's baseball doubleheader at Lincoln Field was full of all sorts of crazy sights - an ambulance at the field, a double-digit win for each team, a coach and player ejected, and that player throwing a ball onto the adjacent football field at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
It wasn't your garden variety twinbill between the Lincoln Blue Tigers and Missouri Western Griffons.
At the end of the wild, blustery day, each team came away with a win and fans got treated to 33 total runs and plenty of drama.
"All in all, not a bad weekend," said Lincoln coach Jim Dapkus, whose team also split a doubleheader Saturday with the Griffons.
