HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. - Holts Summit is open for business.
At least four small businesses have opened there within the past 14 months.
According to the 2010 census, Holts Summit has experienced a 10 percent growth in population since 2000.
"All you have to do is drive around Holts Summit, and you don't see them all from the highway but there are numerous new subdivisions, so demand for new businesses is there," said Nancy Lewis, executive director of the Kingdom of Callaway Chamber of Commerce.
