Proceeds to help library, adult literacy program

Some look forward to the annual MRRL/ABLE book sale as though it is Black Friday. And for some, it is much like that.

Customers — many from across the area — line up at St. Martin’s Knights of Columbus Hall hours before the event begins, all hoping to get a good deal and find a gem amidst the 100,000-plus books at the sale.

The work for this year’s sale literally began the day after it ended last year.
