Groundbreaking for Honey Creek school today

A dream awaited for more than six years will take a step closer to fruition today at Immanuel Lutheran School, Honey Creek.

The rural church and school have seen marked growth in the last several years, particularly since adding an early learning center for ages 3-4. So the multi-generational families who call the parish home have been investing in the future.

Through the difficult economic times, the church and school families continued to raise the funds for a 20,000-square-feet addition. At 10:30 a.m. today, following morning worship services, they will celebrate the groundbreaking.
