Light taking over as A.D. at Helias

Doug Light is stepping away from teaching, but not the classroom.

“My classroom gets a lot bigger now,” Light said Wednesday after it was announced he would take over as the Activities Director at Helias High School this fall. “This will have me involved with a lot of more students.”

Light will remain as head girls basketball coach, but will give up his duties as a varsity football assistant.
