St. Elizabeth has troubles knocking down its shots in sectional loss to Hale

SEDALIA, Mo. — The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets weren’t having the best of shooting nights Tuesday at Smith-Cotton High School, especially in the second half of the Class 1 sectional game against the Hale Lady Cardinals.

In the final two quarters, the Lady Hornets missed their first 12 from beyond the arc and finished 1-of-14 in the half. The final? Hale 42, St. Elizabeth 40.
