Cougars win tourney title

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Columbia College Cougars captured the American Midwest Conference Tournament title Monday night with a 70-56 win over William Woods in the championship game.

Julie Teeple (Versailles High School) scored eight points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Cougars (28-5).
