Despite cloudy skies Saturday, there were a least a few people around town with sunshine on the brain.

Show Me Solar, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about solar energy, held an informational meeting at the Missouri River Regional Library in Jefferson City.

In attendance were engineers, who already can sing the praises of clean energy because they use solar systems in their own homes, and families like the Westins.

Steve and Karen Westin have long been interested in installing a solar energy system in their 1,400 square foot Callaway County home.
