WACO, Texas (AP) - Brittney Griner had 22 points and five blocked shots as third-ranked Baylor clinched the Big 12 title with an 84-52 victory over Missouri on Wednesday night.
Brooklyn Pope added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Bears (27-2, 14-1), who won their second Big 12 title. The other was in 2004-05, their national championship season.
The Lady Bears' win clinched a share of the title, and they won it outright a few minutes after their game when fifth-ranked Texas A&M lost 71-67 at Kansas State.
Baylor was without senior Melissa Jones in what would been her last regular-season home game. The Lady Bears were up 12-0 only 4 minutes into the game, including two 3-pointers by Jordan Madden and two baskets by Griner.
RaeShara Brown had 17 points for Missouri (12-17, 4-11), and Shakara Jones has 10.
Kansas State 71, No. 5 Texas A&M 67
MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Brittany Chambers scored 35 points, including seven 3-pointers, to lift Kansas State past No. 5 Texas A&M.
Chambers made all the clutch plays down the stretch as the Wildcats (19-9, 9-6 Big 12) took a big step toward the No. 4 seed and a bye in the upcoming Big 12 tournament. Chambers eclipsed her season high of 32 against Nebraska on Feb. 19.
Sydney Colson had 21 points and Danielle Adams added 19 for the Aggies (24-4, 12-3). Texas A&M's other losses this season were against No. 3 Baylor (twice) and No. 8 Duke.
The Wildcats came out strong from 3-point range while bursting to a 20-5 lead with 12:24 left in the first half. During that span, Kansas State was 5 of 7 from behind the arc.
No. 18 Oklahoma 81, Oklahoma State 66
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Freshman Aaryn Ellenberg scored 23 points and No. 18 Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State for the eight straight time and 24th in the last 25 meetings.
In their final home game, Danielle Robinson added 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists and Carlee Roethlisberger had 14 points and seven rebounds for Oklahoma (20-9, 10-5 Big 12), which clinched its sixth straight 20-win season.
The Sooners will be the third seed in the upcoming conference tournament, behind Baylor and Texas A&M.
Toni Young had a career-high 31 points for Oklahoma State (15-13, 3-12), which has lost five straight games overall and went 0-8 on the road during conference play this season.
