If there ever was an example of involvement in the community, this would have to be it.
Jefferson City officials kicked off the start of the “Greening America’s Capitals” project Wednesday afternoon in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The project will focus on both improving the city’s Millbottom area and connecting it with other projects in the surrounding areas, like Adrian’s Island and the city’s greenway system.
