Dunklin Street project wins preservation award

Missouri Preservation recognized Dunklin Street Projects with the McReynolds Award at the annual Missouri Preservation Honor Awards ceremony Wednesday at the Capitol Rotunda.

The modest row of commercial buildings on Dunklin forms the heart of Jefferson City's Munichburg Commercial Historic District.

Larry Kolb and Steve Rollins renovated three of the six contributing buildings on the block. Using historic photos, they reconstructed storefronts and facades.
