Latham school starts a new chapter

LATHAM, Mo. — Sixty Latham R-5 students moved into four temporary mobile classrooms Monday, “Starting a New Chapter” according to a bulletin board in the fifth- and sixth-grade classroom of teacher Deann Lawson.

The main school building burned in December just before the Christmas break. School had continued in the Pilot Grove Baptist Church until the mobile classrooms were in place and modified for the needs of the students.
