FULTON, Mo. — Two pit-bull terriers attacked a postman Tuesday afternoon and inflicted serious bite wounds to his face.
Police are withholding the name of the postman, pending notification of family. The postman — who works in Fulton, but lives in Jefferson City — was taken to University Hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Maj. Roger Rice said the postman was delivering mail at 12:28 p.m. Tuesday to 303 W. 14th St. in Fulton when two pit-bull terriers escaped from the house and attacked the postman.
