Recalls: frozen chicken, mushroom pies, cat food

The following recalls have been announced:
—About 775 pounds of Piccadilly Fine Foods Chicken and Mushroom Pastie frozen pie products from Piccadilly Fine Foods of Santa Clara, Calif., because they may contain an undeclared allergen, egg. Individual packages weighing 8 ounces each were shipped in 12-pound cases containing 24 individual packages. The products were produced between Aug. 1, 2010, and Feb. 25, 2011, and were shipped to distributors in California, Colorado, Florida and Texas for further distribution to retail outlets. —Certain lots of Wellness canned cat food distributed by WellPet LLC of Tewksbury, Mass., because some cans might contain less than adequate levels of thiamine, or vitamin B1, an essential vitamin for cats. Recalled were Wellness Canned Cat Food (all flavors and sizes) with best-by dates from 14APR 13 through 30SEP13; and Wellness Canned Cat Food Chicken & Herring (all sizes) with 10NOV13 or 17NOV13 best-buy dates.
