Defense winding down case in Casey Anthony trial

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - The defense is expected to call a grief expert to the witness stand as it winds down the presentation of its case in the Florida murder trial of Casey Anthony.

Lead defense attorney Jose Baez says he has about six more witnesses to call beginning Wednesday, but has not said whether Anthony will testify.

Defense lawyers put the meter reader who found 2-year-old Caylee Anthony's remains through a thorough examination and continued their strategy of painting the child's family as dysfunctional on Tuesday.

Anthony has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in her daughter's death and could face the death penalty if convicted of that charge. The prosecution says she used duct tape to suffocate the toddler. The defense says the girl drowned in her grandparents' swimming pool.
