Police ID woman killed after jumping from car

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Police in St. Louis have identified a woman who died last week after jumping from a moving car driven by an acquaintance.

Authorities said Monday she was 41-year-old Felicia Ann Horton.

The man driving the car says Horton wanted him to take her to meet someone early Thursday. Police said the driver refused because he thought she was drunk.

When the driver told Horton he would take her home instead, she jumped from the moving car. She suffered a severe head injury and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
