EUGENE, Ore. - Adam Nelson was the only man to throw more than 72 feet and he captured the title in the shot put Sunday at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Former Eldon Mustang and Missouri Tiger Christian Cantwell was second with a mark of 71-9, as he was the only performer to have three throws of 71 feet or more.
