Good crowd turns out for Blues, Brews and Brats

It had all the makings of an outdoor festival: grills cooking brats, vendors doling out pulled pork sandwiches, adults drinking adult beverages, kids marveling at hula-hoop dancers, and a soulful blues band picking out tunes.
Blues, Brews and Brats kicked off its first of hopefully many festivals in the second festival district on Saturday in Jefferson City.
Crowds were a little light in the 100 block of Dunklin Street during the first hour, but by 5 p.m. more festival-goers were ....
