Marie Peoples’ efforts as Cole County health director provide boost for public

A lot has happened in the Cole County Health Department since Nov. 1, when Marie Peoples became director.

Some of the changes are more visible than others, but one sure thing is that all of them are helping the citizens of the county.

Each of the clinic rooms have been painted and spruced up; a grant allowed for new seating in the lobby area and flatscreen television for some of the clinic rooms that allow for one-on-one education as a patient waits to be seen.
