Michael Huber is just one win away from adding more hardware to his collection.
The former Helias golfer won his quarterfinal and semifinal matches in the Missouri Amateur Junior Match Play Championship Wednesday at Eagle Knoll Golf Club.
He will try to win the tournament with a 36-hole final today against Mitch Rutledge of Creve Coeur.
Huber won his quarterfinal match 2 and 1 against Cody Cox of Cape Girardeau. The match was tied after eight holes before Huber went on a tear. He won four straight holes before holding off Cox on the the back nine to advance.
His semifinal match was a little closer as he used a late charge to hold off Grego Grant of Lee’s Summit to win 3 and 1.
