Parks panel endorses Jefferson City rec center

The proposed Jefferson City Recreation Center won another endorsement Tuesday, with a unanimous vote from the Parks Resources and Planning Committee.

Next stop — next week’s Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission meeting, with a recommendation they hire an architect to work on a preliminary design and help identify and evaluate various possible locations.

I'm glad to see jc still supporting this idea, which is just one more plus when it comes to attracting people to jefferson city. I do hope they make this fully accessible to the greenway system.
