Couple pleads guilty in St. Louis to prostitution

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A man and a woman from Minnesota have pleaded guilty to charges related to involving a 16-year-old girl in prostitution.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said Tuesday in a press release that Maurice Alexander and Latoshia Norris, both of Minneapolis, pleaded guilty to one felony count of enticement to engage in prostitution. They are scheduled to be sentenced September 9.

They face up to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000.

Federal prosecutors said Alexander and Norris were accused of taking a 16-year-old girl to various cities in order to have her engage in prostitution.
