Osage Beach residents, business owners and visitors can now fill out a survey at the city's website or at City Hall about the possibility of a smoking ban.
This survey follows a May 12 public forum and discussion of a smoking ban ordinance. More than 60 people visited with elected officials and city staff about a ban on public smoking ban at the first of two public forums.
Osage Beach Alderman Steve Kahrs was displeased that groups like the Cole County Partners in Clean Air attended Osage Beach's forum. "They should not be telling us how to handle our city's business."
